An October wedding blessed with the most beautiful sunshine - we were incredibly lucky to enjoy such a glorious day, despite the typically unpredictable British weather!
But what made this wedding truly special was so much more than the sunshine.
Elliot, from England, and Gabriella, with her Nigerian heritage, brought two beautiful cultures together in a celebration filled with love, meaningful traditions and moments that made their day uniquely theirs.
As a wedding photographer, one of the things I treasure most about my work is the opportunity to step into different worlds, witness traditions that may be new to me, and discover the beautiful ways people celebrate love.
Every culture has its own way of expressing joy, honouring family and marking the beginning of a new chapter. Being able to observe these traditions and preserve them through my photographs is such a privilege. It reminds me that, although our backgrounds and customs may differ, the emotions at the heart of a wedding are universal. And perhaps that’s the most beautiful thing about weddings like Elliot and Gabriella’s - two backgrounds, two stories, and two families coming together to create something entirely their own.
