On the 2nd of May, Amy & Rob became Mr & Mrs Kilvington in the heart of Liverpool — and their wedding day felt like something straight out of the pages of Vogue.
Their ceremony took place at St George’s Hall Registry Office, one of Liverpool’s most iconic and timeless locations. Surrounded by grand architecture, soft natural light and refined historic elegance, the atmosphere felt effortlessly cinematic from the very first moment.
After the ceremony, the celebration continued at The Ivy — The Amazon Room Liverpool, where the evening unfolded in true luxury fashion. Candlelit tables, champagne towers, black tie elegance and beautifully curated details created a celebration that felt intimate, sophisticated and deeply stylish all at once.
What made this wedding so special was not only the aesthetic beauty of the day, but the emotion behind it. Every moment carried a quiet sense of modern romance — from the delicate movement of Amy’s veil to the candid laughter shared between family and friends. Nothing felt forced. Everything felt honest.
Amy embodied contemporary bridal elegance effortlessly — graceful, fashion-forward and timeless in every frame. Together, Amy & Rob created a wedding atmosphere that perfectly balanced editorial sophistication with genuine emotion.
But one of the most important things I always want my couples to understand is this:
There is no single “correct” style of wedding photography.
Every couple is different. Every wedding has its own energy, aesthetic and emotional rhythm. That is why my approach to wedding photography is always deeply personal and tailored individually to each couple I work with.
Some couples are drawn to a more editorial and Vogue-inspired aesthetic. Others prefer documentary storytelling, cinematic emotion, timeless romance or modern candid imagery. Your wedding photography should reflect you — your personalities, your connection and the way your day truly feels.
The style of your wedding photography is something we carefully discuss together before the wedding day. I always adapt my creative approach around your vision, preferences and atmosphere you want to create. Whether you dream of elegant editorial portraits, natural candid storytelling or a blend of both — your wedding gallery should feel authentic to your story.
And honestly, that is where the most meaningful imagery is born.
Amy & Rob’s wedding was a beautiful reminder that the most timeless photographs come from real emotion, genuine connection and the freedom to create a wedding day that feels entirely your own.
Being surrounded by such kind, warm and welcoming people made me feel less like a photographer and more like part of the celebration itself — and those are always the moments that create the most honest and unforgettable images.
A love story captured with editorial sophistication, candid emotion and modern romance.
If you are planning your wedding, I would be honoured to tell your story in a way that feels authentic, timeless and uniquely yours.
