My journey into Photography didn't begin with camera - it began with law books.
Before l ever photographed a wedding, l worked as a qualified lawyer. It was a career build on structure, logic, and precision. And while l valued the discipline it gave me, something was always missing. I felt a constant pull toward creativity - toward people, emotion, and storytelling in a more human way.
Photography started as that quiet calling. At first, it was a passion l explored alongside my legal career, but over time it became impossible to ignore. The more l photographed, the clearer it became: this wasn't a hobby - it was the work l was meant to do.
I made the leap and fully committed to photography, eventually opening my own studio in Ukraine. It was there that l truly found my voice as a photographer - working closely with people, capturing real emotion, and learning how powerful images can be when they're honest and intentional.
Running a studio taught me far more than technical skill. It taught me how to connect with clients, how to guide people who feel nervous in front of camera, and how to tell stories that feel timeless rather than staged.
Relocating to the UK marked a new chapter - both personally and professionally. With fresh surroundings came clarity about where l wanted my photography to focus.
Weddings felt like the natural home for everything l had learned: human connection, storytelling, emotion, and trust. A wedding day is full of fleeting moments - the quiet ones, the unplanned ones, the ones that matter most. My approach is rooted in observing those moments rather than directing them, allowing couples to truly live their day while l document it as it unfolds.
Alongside my wedding work, I also Mentor Photographers privately and teach photography courses internationally. Education has always been close to my heart - helping others find confidence in their work, refine their vision, and build sustainable creative careers of their own.
Whether mentoring one-to-one or teaching abroad, my focus is always the same: authenticity, intention, and storytelling over trends.
Leaving law to follow photography was a risk - but it was the best decision l've ever made. Today, l bring the precision of my legal background together with creativity of my photographic work. offering couples not just a beautiful images, but calm guidance, trust, and care on one of the most important days of their lives.
This is more than a career. It's a journey - and I'm grateful very day that I chose to follow it.
Love,
Natalie
